Abstract
This study investigated the effects of online and offline transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) on cognitive performance. The research examined various frequency bands (delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma) and their impact on different brain regions (prefrontal cortex, posterior parietal cortex, temporal cortex) and cognitive domains (executive function/complex attention, perceptual-motor function, learning and memory). Side effects of tACS were also documented.
