This scholarship is offered annually to undergraduate international students entering their first year in any discipline during the fall term. Recipients must meet the University’s English Language Proficiency requirement. The scholarship is renewable for the second, third, and fourth years, provided recipients maintain a GPA of 2.60 or higher over a minimum of 24.00 units in the preceding fall and winter terms.

To be eligible for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Submit an application for admission to the University of Calgary (award application access provided 24 to 48 hours after submission).
- Demonstrate academic excellence.
- Be an international student who is not a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
- Enter the first year of any bachelor's program in the upcoming fall term.
- Be a financially needy and fee-paying student.
- Access the award application through my.ucalgary.ca using the eID and password created during the admission application process.
