π About Rozsa Foundation Essential Cybersecurity for Arts Organizations
The Essential Cybersecurity for Arts Organizations program is a 2026 initiative designed to strengthen the digital infrastructure and cybersecurity resilience of arts organizations in Southern Alberta. This program addresses growing digital risks facing theatres, galleries, and cultural spaces by:
- Tackling critical vulnerabilities
- Improving incident response
- Supporting long-term cybersecurity maturity
Participating organizations will receive structured guidance, professional tools, and ongoing support to ensure their digital operations remain secure and reliable.

Participants in this program will receive:
- One year of free enrollment in the EverSecure cybersecurity program
- A full cybersecurity assessment to identify digital vulnerabilities
- Mapping of critical systems and digital assets
- A customized remediation and improvement plan
- 12 months of protective security technologies
- Continuous monitoring and real-time threat detection
- Expert response support to minimize downtime and risk
- Ongoing cybersecurity training for all staff
- The estimated value of this support exceeds $5,000 per organization
β Eligibility Criteria
This program is open to arts organizations committed to improving their cybersecurity practices. Your organization may be eligible if you meet all the following criteria:
- Your organization is a registered Canadian charity with a valid CRA charitable business number (9 digits, 2 letters, 4 digits) OR a registered not-for-profit organization.
- Your organization is arts-focused and presents arts-based work for a public audience.
- Your organization operates in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta, encompassing Calgary and surrounding areas, as well as Banff, Canmore, Drumheller, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Red Deer, and others.
- Your organization has an annual operating budget of at least $250,000.
- Your organization has a minimum of two professional staff (full or part-time).
- You commit to designating a staff member as Project Lead to liaise with Technology Helps.
- You will commit 10β15 hours of the Project Leadβs time for meetings, information gathering, and implementation tasks.
- You commit to ensuring that all staff and organizational members with access to digital systems complete quarterly cybersecurity training (approximately one hour per quarter).
