The TIPP scholarship is a framework under Thailand’s international development cooperation. It aims to provide opportunities for Thailand and its partners to exchange experiences and best practices that contribute to sustainable development.

🎁 Benefits of Thailand International Postgraduate Program

Awardees of the TIPP scholarship will receive the following benefits:

  • Return economy class air ticket and airport pickup service.
  • Monthly subsistence, settlement, books, and thesis allowance.
  • Living allowance: 7,000 Baht per month.
  • Accommodation allowance: 7,000 to 9,000 Baht per month.
  • Settlement allowance: 6,000 Baht upon first arrival in Thailand.
  • Book allowance: 10,000 Baht per year for master’s degree students.
  • Thesis allowance: 20,000 Baht as a lump sum for compulsory fieldwork.
  • Tuition fees: Directly reimbursed by TICA.
  • Insurance: Coverage during the study period in Thailand.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the TIPP scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Nomination: Candidates must be nominated by the National Focal Point for International Development Cooperation in a country from the TIPP eligible countries/territories list.
  • Sector Preference: Candidates should preferably work in the government sector or in an area related to the course provided.
  • Educational Background: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and/or professional experience in a related field or related to their graduate degree.
  • English Proficiency:
    • Candidates must have a good command of English.
    • If English is not their first language or their Bachelor’s degree was not taught in English, they must pass an English Language proficiency test as per the academic institution's regulations.
  • Medical Report: A medical report is mandatory.
  • Physical and Mental Health: Candidates must be in good physical and mental condition.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 45 years of age.
  • Full-Time Study: Awardees are required to study full-time and must not change the program topic or study plan.
  • Employment Restrictions:
    • Part-time employment is not allowed during the program.
    • Awardees are not allowed to bring family members to stay with them during the study.

  • Ensure all required documents, including the medical report and English proficiency test results (if applicable), are submitted during the application process.
Benefits

  • The accommodation allowance worth 7000 to 9000 Baht per month will also be provided.
  • Awardees will receive the settlement allowance of 6000 Baht on their first arrival in Thailand.
  • A book allowance of 10,000 Baht will also be provided for a year for master’s degree students.
  • Awardees will be offered a thesis allowance worth 20,000 Baht as a lump sum amount for compulsory fieldwork.
  • The tuition fees will be directly reimbursed from TICA.
  • Insurance will be provided during the period of study in Thailand.
