📖 About Maynooth University Scholarships

The Maynooth University Taught Master’s Scholarships are now open for applications. A total of 60 scholarships will be awarded to students across all disciplines in recognition of academic excellence. Scholarships will be granted to the most highly qualified applicants, ranked separately in each department or institute, based on the highest overall results in final year examinations.

💰 Benefits of Maynooth University Scholarships

Selected candidates will receive the following benefits:

€2,000 scholarship for each student.
For two-year Master’s programs, the €2,000 scholarship is only available in the first year of the program.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Required Language: English or Chinese.
Eligible Countries: All world countries.
Applicants must intend to pursue a full-time master’s degree at Maynooth University commencing in the academic year 2025.
Satisfy the entry requirements of the Maynooth University taught master’s program they intend to undertake in 2025.
Achieve a minimum 2.1 honours undergraduate degree to be considered for the scholarship.
Non-Maynooth University graduates must upload their final honours undergraduate degree transcripts for their level 8 degree to PAC.ie by June 30, 2025.
Applicants who received a student grant for their final year of undergraduate studies should provide evidence of their grant award.
Graduates or current students of PhD or Master’s programs are not eligible to apply.

Find a course of study that suits you from Maynooth University Taught Programmes and follow the application instructions.

Required Documents:

Certified copies of all official transcripts of results for all non-Maynooth University qualifications.
Non-Maynooth University students must provide a copy of their birth certificate or valid passport.
Names and contact details of two referees (academic or professional).

Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship

Visit the Taught Masters Scholarships page and follow these steps:

Under TYPE, select "Taught Masters Scholarship".
Under DEPARTMENT, choose "Taught Masters Scholarships".
Click Search.
