Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Professional Background: NGO professionals working in areas such as:
- Community development
- Environment
- Education
- Women’s rights
- Civic engagement & human rights
- Emergency relief
- Disability inclusion
- Children & families welfare
- Social innovation & entrepreneurship
- Outstanding applicants from other fields may also be considered.
- Work Experience: At least three years of experience in the NGO sector.
- Personal Attributes: Demonstrated professional excellence, independence, and self-motivation to complete an independent fellowship.
- Age: Between 25 to 40 years old.
- Country of Origin: Applicants must be from one of the following regions:

- Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
South Asia
- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan.
Northeast Asia
- Japan, South Korea, Mongolia.
Pacific Islands
- Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu.
Language Requirement
- Proficiency in written and oral English.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
