📖 About RANT Arts Quick Response Grants

The Quick Response Grants fund professional development opportunities for artists and arts workers or small project opportunities. This program supports immediate needs that arise where the activity cannot be planned for or supported in other funding rounds. Examples include professional development, skills development, or small project opportunities at short notice.

💰 Benefits of RANT Arts Quick Response Grants

• Applications are assessed in monthly rounds, at the end of each calendar month.
• Individuals can receive up to $3,000.
• Organisations can receive up to $5,000.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• The Regional Arts Fund is managed in Tasmania by RANT Arts, and applications are only accepted from Tasmanian artists/arts workers or organisations.

To be eligible, you must:

• Reside in Tasmania.
• Be an individual, Australian incorporated organisation, or local government organisation.
• Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) registered to your name and location.
• If required by the Australian Tax Office, be registered for the purposes of GST.
• Not have any outstanding reports, acquittals, or serious breaches related to any Australian Government funding or funding from a state or territory Regional Program Administrator. A serious breach is one that warrants the termination of a grant agreement.

📝 Application Date and Process

Required Information:

1. Completed application form, including a balanced project budget.
2. Details of your auspicing organisation (if required).
3. A one-page resume/CV for all paid professional personnel in the project. (Recommended: consolidate into one PDF).
4. Samples of artwork by paid artists and key artistic personnel involved in the project. Examples include:
   • Images
   • PowerPoint slides
   • Soundtracks
   • Videos
   • Catalogues
   • Reviews
   • Articles
   • Programs
   • Critiques
     (Quality over quantity is recommended.)
5. A maximum of five support and/or confirmation letters. (Recommended: consolidate into one PDF).
