The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) is currently accepting applications for its Training and Regional Events Grant 2026. This program supports capacity-building and cultural exchange initiatives across the Arab region, funding projects that strengthen artistic practice, cultural knowledge, and regional collaboration.

📝 About AFAC Training and Regional Events Grant

The AFAC Training and Regional Events Grant Program, run by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC), is designed to:

• Support capacity-building initiatives.
• Promote cultural exchange across the Arab region.
• Fund programs that enhance artistic practice, cultural knowledge, and regional collaboration.

💰 Benefits of the Grant

Grant Amounts:

• Individuals and teams: Up to USD 25,000.
• Collectives and institutions: Up to USD 35,000.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

AFAC welcomes proposals from:

• Individuals from Arab countries (22 member states of the Arab League), regardless of their place of residence, citizenship, or ethnic and national identification.
• Local, regional, and international institutions and organizations whose projects are related to arts and culture from the Arab region. These include:
  • Artistic and cultural institutions.
  • Galleries and venues.
  • Nonprofit and for-profit entities.

🚫 Ineligible Candidates

The following are not eligible to apply:

• Members of the AFAC board of trustees, AFAC staff, their business partners, or family members.
• Members of the current year’s reader and juror committees for the categories they are evaluating.
• Recipients of grants in two consecutive years (e.g., if you received grants in 2021 and 2022, you can only apply again in 2025).
• Applicants with a current open grant.
• Applicants submitting more than one application during each open call.
