The NTU Singapore Research Scholarship is awarded to outstanding graduate students for research at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This scholarship is open to both local and international students.

🎁 Benefits of NTU Singapore Research Scholarship

• No bond attached to the scholarship.
• The award is tenable for one (1) year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress.
• Maximum scholarship duration:
  • Two (2) years for Master's candidates.
  • Four (4) years for PhD candidates.
• Monthly stipend amounts based on citizenship and discipline:

• Additional stipend: Scholars who pass the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination/Confirmation may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to S$500 per month, subject to good performance in research and attainment of required standards for courses taken.
• The scholarship also covers the annual tuition fee.
• Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions are provided for Singapore Citizens at the prevailing employer's contribution rate.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship:

1. You must be a local or international student seeking admission as a full-time candidate pursuing a Graduate Research programme at NTU.
2. You must have a minimum of Honours (Distinction) or its equivalent.

📌 Additional Notes

• Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP): International students must perform teaching/laboratory supervision duties to fulfill the requirements of the GAP. Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents may perform GAP at the discretion of the schools.

  • STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics.
  • SSH: Social Science & Humanities.
