The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports outstanding early-career scientists worldwide who aim to gain dual expertise in immunology and data science. This unique program fosters a new generation of researchers fluent in both biology and computation, equipping them to drive innovation in cancer immunotherapy.

โ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a doctoral degree by the date of award activation.
- Conduct proposed research under a sponsor with a formal appointment as an assistant professor or higher rank at the host institution.
- Work in areas directly related to immunology or cancer immunology. Projects must fall into the broad field of immunology with relevance to solving the cancer problem.
- Have less than 5 years of mentored research experience at the time of award activation (excluding M.D. residency years). Use the doctoral degree conferral date for eligibility calculation.
- Applicants who have already spent 3 or more years in a sponsorโs laboratory by the start date of the fellowship will only be considered under exceptional circumstances.
- The fellowship can be performed in the United States or abroad but must take place at a non-profit institution. There are no citizenship restrictions.
- Only 1 fellow per sponsor may apply per application round, and faculty sponsors may not have more than 3 CRI-supported fellows at any time.
- Resubmissions: Applicants may resubmit their fellowship application at a subsequent deadline, provided the new application reflects progress and improvements.
