✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the AGRTPS scholarship, applicants must:

1. Citizenship:

   • Be a citizen of any country except New Zealand.
   • Not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status, or New Zealand citizenship.

2. Study Intent:

   • Intend to commence full-time study for a Higher Degree by Research in Australia for the first time in 2026.
   • Students who commenced their Higher Degree by Research in the previous year but were unable to apply for an AGRTPS due to timing issues may also be considered.

3. Research Area:

   • Intend to enroll in an area of research concentration where Flinders University has particular strength and external funding.

4. Entry Requirements:

   • Meet all entry requirements for a Higher Degree by Research, including English proficiency as per the university's English Language Proficiency Requirements for HDR Candidature.
   • Provide valid English test results (valid until 31 March 2027) at the time of application. Applications with invalid test results will be deemed ineligible.
