✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicant Eligibility:

• Must be 18 years or older by June 1, 2026.
• Must be proficient in English, as all support and programming are conducted in English.
• Open to applicants of all nationalities, working in any country.
• Must be a leader with decision-making power within the organization, either as a sole founder or a leading founder of the organization.
• Must be the primary decision-maker with ultimate authority over the organization’s growth and strategic vision.
• If selected, applicants must work full-time (40 hours per week) on the fellowship project, which must remain their main professional priority.

Organization Eligibility:

• Organizations with fiscal sponsors are eligible as long as the sponsor has no authority over the organization’s work and decision-making.
• Applicants must have the ability to make and act on organizational decisions independently.
• Organizations should be in the early stages of development, typically:
  • Operated with full-time staff for less than five years.
  • Still require resources to grow and sustain operations.
• Organizations must not engage in lobbying as defined by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
• Organizations cannot engage in recruitment, promotion, or conversion for a specific religious faith.
• Founding team members or leadership positions cannot include current or former Echoing Green Fellows.
