Opportunity Overview

📖 About

The CLA Foundation Opportunity Scholarship Program seeks to identify and award America’s future leaders in finance, accounting, business, and other emerging areas of study.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

💰 Benefits

Selected recipients will receive a $15,000 award.
Up to 69 awards will be granted.
Awards are applicable for undergraduate and graduate study.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants to the CLA Foundation Opportunity Scholarship Program must:

Be high school seniors, high school graduates, current college undergraduates, or graduate-level students in the United States (U.S.).
Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or graduate school for the entire upcoming academic year.
Be planning to pursue a degree in an industry-related area of study connected to CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP). Areas of study include, but are not limited to:
- Accounting
- Business
- Finance
- Other emerging areas of study, including:
  - Computer Science
  - Data Science and Analytics
  - Cybersecurity
  - Human-Centered Design and User Experience (UX/UI)
  - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  - Legal Technology and Regulatory Compliance (RegTech)
  - Cognitive Science and Robotics
  - Communications and Digital Media
  - Ethics and Technology Management
Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

📝 Application Process

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
