💰 Benefits of the Grant
- In 2025, the total grants provided will amount to up to $100,000, combining funds raised by individuals from Cassels and the generous support of Wheaton Precious Metals.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The business must be Black-owned (i.e., owned/controlled and operated in the majority by individuals who self-identify as Black).
- The business must have a maximum of 50 employees.
- The business must be located in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary, or have significant involvement in/impact on these business communities.
- The business must be a legal and existing Canadian for-profit entity (e.g., sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation).
Note: Non-profit corporations, with or without charitable status, are not eligible at this time.
