🎁 Benefits of Charles Darwin University RTP Scholarships

Financial Support

• AU$34,190 (2025 rate) per annum, tax-free, for full-time students (paid fortnightly).
• AU$17,095 (2025 rate) per annum, taxable, for part-time students (paid fortnightly).

Duration

• Doctoral Degree: Three years full-time.
• Research Master's Degree: Two years full-time.

Additional Benefits

• Paid sick leave.
• Maternity leave.
• Relocation allowance:
  • Up to AU$2,000 for domestic students.
  • Up to AU$2,500 for international students (conditions apply).

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Charles Darwin University RTP Scholarships:

1. You must be enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at an Australian Higher Education Provider (HEP).
2. Demonstrate exceptional research potential to undertake an HDR.
3. You must not receive income from another source to support your general living costs while enrolled in a course of study if that income exceeds 75% of the RTP stipend rate.
   • Income unrelated to your course of study or income received for purposes other than supporting general living costs is not considered.

International Applicants

• Admission Deadline: September 1, 2025 (complete application required).
• Scholarship Round Closes: September 30, 2025.
• Scholarship Outcomes: Mid-November 2025.

Domestic Applicants

• Admission Deadline: October 1, 2025 (complete application required).
• Scholarship Round Closes: October 31, 2025.
• Scholarship Outcomes: Mid-December 2025.

• Minimum 2 academic referee reports.
• English proficiency results.
