Abstract
This study systematically reviews 207 articles from Computer Science, Social Science, and Business and Management Science to analyze the use and prospects of Voice Assistants (VAs) in private households. It reveals a lack of cross-fertilization between disciplines, hindering the development of user-centric VA applications. The study proposes a conceptual framework for future interdisciplinary research to address this gap and identify new VA-based business opportunities.
