Abstract
This study explores the coping strategies employed by sociotherapists in Poland when facing challenges in their work with adolescents. Through in-depth interviews with 22 sociotherapists and reflective thematic analysis, five key themes emerged: reliance on other professionals, self-reflection and personal growth, emotional containment, proactive action, and a strong sense of professional mission. Findings highlight the importance of supportive work environments, supervision, and crisis intervention policies for sociotherapists' well-being and effectiveness. The study advocates for broader access to professional networks to strengthen their role and foster community-supported best practices in sociotherapy.
