This study explores stakeholder relationship networks in urban village renovation projects in Tianjin, China, using a mixed-method approach combining single-case analysis and social network analysis (SNA). The research identifies key constraints to stakeholder collaboration at different project stages: low public participation in the early preparation stage, weak network connections during demolition and resettlement, and significant clique fragmentation during development and construction. The study recommends strategies such as transforming the development model, enhancing public status, leveraging core stakeholder resources, and establishing a network-sharing platform to improve collaboration and achieve effective multi-stakeholder governance.
