This paper explores the relationship between diversity measures extracted from large-scale mobile phone data and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Andorra, a tourism-dependent country. The study finds a strong association between diversity measures (based on nationality and income) and general and sectoral CPIs. This relationship allows for the construction of high-resolution daily and spatial CPI maps, complementing existing official statistics. The findings contribute to the literature linking diversity to economic outcomes and macroeconomic monitoring using large-scale data.
