Unequal effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on researchers: evidence from Chile and Colombia

This study reveals the disproportionate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on researchers in Chile and Colombia, with notable differences in research time reductions based on gender and caregiving responsibilities. Women, particularly those with young children, faced the most significant challenges.
