Short-form video addiction is linked to higher anxiety and increased learning burnout among undergraduates — research conducted by Minghua Mao (School of Foreign Language, Suzhou University of Technology, Changshu, China) and Feng Liao (School of Mathematics and Statistics, Suzhou University of Technology, Changshu, China) finds anxiety mediates this link and that coping styles shape the direct effect, pointing to digital literacy and coping interventions.
