Abstract
This paper describes and evaluates a structured learning experience designed to enhance student engagement with international climate negotiations. Students received training on the UNFCCC and its processes before attending COP24, culminating in a student-led side event. Pre- and post-surveys and interviews assessed their engagement and agency. Results indicate that the structured learning experience improved climate literacy, self-efficacy, and overall engagement in climate action.
