This study examined the relationship between third-trimester dietary patterns of women with gestational diabetes (GDM) and their offspring's appetitive feeding behavior at 6 months. Three maternal dietary patterns were identified: 'Junk,' 'Mixed,' and 'Health-conscious.' The 'Health-conscious' pattern was inversely associated with 'enjoyment of food' in sons and positively associated with 'slowness in eating.' These findings suggest sex-specific effects of third-trimester dietary patterns on infant appetitive feeding behavior.
