This article examines the political influence of Muslim minorities in the United States and Britain, focusing on how several factors—colonial influence, demographics, identity, integration policies, and the Muslim lobby—explain their differing political power. The study finds that the British Muslim minority wields significantly more political influence than its American counterpart.
