Abstract
This mixed-methods study explores the factors influencing Chinese EFL teachers' psychological well-being, focusing on mindfulness, growth mindset, and teaching enthusiasm. A quantitative survey (n=268) and qualitative interviews (n=12) were conducted. Quantitative analysis revealed positive relationships between mindfulness, growth mindset, and well-being, with teaching enthusiasm significantly mediating these relationships. Qualitative data corroborated these findings, highlighting how mindfulness and growth mindset foster passionate teaching, leading to enhanced well-being. The study emphasizes the importance of promoting these factors to improve Chinese EFL teachers' psychological well-being.
