This paper explores the relationship between internet use and individuals' perceived well-being in Spain, considering five dimensions: happiness, life satisfaction, social meetings, personal connections, and social life participation. A three-equation model analyzes internet use, intensity of use, and the impact on well-being, using data from the European Social Survey (2016 and 2018). Results reveal a nuanced relationship, with internet use negatively impacting happiness and life satisfaction but positively affecting connections and participation. Socioeconomic factors significantly influence both internet use and its impact on well-being.
