Abstract
This study investigates translation styles of Bai Juyi's *Pipa Xing* poem through the lens of text complexity and individuation. Nine English translations were analyzed using SysFan and SPSS 22.0, comparing lexical density and grammatical intricacy. While lexical density remained consistent, grammatical intricacy varied, reflecting different textual features (spoken, written, mixed) and hierarchical/narrative elements. These variations are linked to translators' individuation processes, showing how their cultural backgrounds and affiliations shape lexicogrammatical choices and resulting translation styles.
