Abstract
This study investigates the dynamic effect of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) operations on the financial performance of deposit money banks (DMBs) in Nigeria. Using data from seven Nigerian banks from 2005 to 2023 and employing panel co-integration and Cross-sectional Dependence Autoregressive Distributed Lag (CS-ARDL) models, the study finds that SSCM operations significantly influence banks' financial performance (market value and profitability). The integration of SSCM strategies is argued to enhance corporate image and value by bridging information asymmetry among stakeholders. Policy suggestions based on the empirical findings are provided.
