Abstract
This paper maps the relationship between barriers to the development of green supply chains (GSC) and empirical research on green banking (GB), considering the link with main topics of GB research. A literature review identifies, by scientific impact, the banking role and maps the relationship between barriers to GSC development and conclusions of empirical research on GB. The paper displays the main vectors related to area, year, and methodology for each barrier and topic of empirical research on GB, offering insights into research gaps and future directions.
