Seismological observations indicate Earth's inner core (IC) is heterogeneous and anisotropic. The driving force for this anisotropic texture is unclear. This study reveals that H-ion diffusion in superionic Fe-H alloy is anisotropic, with the lowest energy barrier along the c-axis. An external electric field favors Fe-H lattice alignment with the c-axis pointing towards the field. The Earth's geomagnetic field aligns Fe-H alloys with the c-axis parallel to the equatorial plane, creating seismic anisotropy consistent with IC observations. This suggests a strong coupling between IC structure and the geomagnetic field.
