This study investigates the relationship between individual resilience and Individual Competitive Productivity (ICP) in the tourism industry, exploring the role of age. An adapted resilience scale was used in an online survey (n=425) with tourism professionals and students in Spain during the COVID-19 crisis. Results show a correspondence between the resilience scale and ICP components, with age influencing resilience levels. The findings suggest that diverse recruitment policies, incorporating both younger and older employees, can enhance organizational ambidexterity and resilience.
