This study investigates public awareness and behavior regarding green transportation in China, focusing on the role of digital map technology. A nationwide survey (7369 respondents) revealed high acceptance of green transportation, particularly among younger individuals. Convenience, safety, and weather were identified as key influencing factors in mode choice. Digital tools, such as integrated green transportation portals on map applications, offer innovative options for public participation in green mobility. The study emphasizes the need for collaboration between government, organizations, and digital technology companies to promote green transportation and establish emission reduction standards for low-carbon living.
