Abstract
This research examines how individuals’ perceptions of governance legitimacy impact their decisions regarding privacy disclosure during the COVID-19 pandemic. It distinguishes between cognitive and moral legitimacy, finding that both positively influence altruistic privacy disclosure. However, education level moderates this impact.
