Abstract
This study investigates Saudi parents' digital skills and their development during the COVID-19 pandemic. It explores differences in digital skills based on employment status, age, and responsibility in teaching children. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and an eight-dimension scale with 250 parents, the study found high performance in operational, instrumental, and cognitive constructivism skills. Differences were observed in the impact of computer use on instrumental and cognitive skills, highlighting parents' reliance on various digital sources for information gathering, knowledge creation, and critical evaluation. The findings suggest that digital skills development enabled more flexible learning and knowledge navigation.
