Abstract
Madagascar's rich chameleon biodiversity is threatened by deforestation and climate change. Using an extended ENphylo species distribution model, we predict significant chameleon species loss in the northwest, primarily driven by land conversion, with complex interactions with climate change. Approximately 30% of Madagascar's chameleons may lose nearly all their habitats, jeopardizing their survival.
