Abstract
This study investigated the influence of perceived values on sustainability, problem awareness, responsibility ascription, community sense, and anticipated guilt on the intention to reuse (sell and/or swap) secondhand clothing using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Data from 524 Chinese respondents obtained via an online survey revealed that perceived values on sustainability, responsibility ascription, community sense, and anticipated guilt significantly predict reuse intention, while problem awareness did not. Reuse intention also positively influenced reuse practices. The study contributes to understanding sustainable secondhand clothing reuse in China and globally.
