Abstract
This research investigates the influence of public leadership on project success and team building within the public sector. Using social information processing theory, the study analyzes data from 436 responses from public sector project managers and subordinates. Results indicate a positive relationship between public leadership and project success, mediated by team building. The study highlights the importance of public leadership attributes (accountability, rule-following, political loyalty, and network governance) in fostering effective team building and ultimately, project success.
