Abstract
This paper introduces a dual-mode device for year-round building energy saving. The device integrates daytime radiative cooling and solar heating, utilizing electrostatically-controlled thermal contact conductance to achieve high cooling and heating power densities. Building energy simulation suggests significant energy savings if widely deployed.
