Abstract
This paper presents a large catalog of 662 superclusters identified using a modified Friends of Friends algorithm applied to the WHL cluster catalog from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). The catalog covers a redshift range of 0.05 ≤ z ≤ 0.42 and a sky area of ~14,000 deg². The median mass of the superclusters is ~5.8 × 10¹⁵ M⊙, and the median size is ~65 Mpc. The properties of the observed superclusters are compared with mock superclusters from the Horizon Run 4 cosmological simulation, showing broad agreement. A correlation between supercluster density contrast and maximum extent is found, following a power law with an index of α ~ -2. The study also investigates the influence of the supercluster environment on cluster growth.
