This study addresses the limitations of existing oil-water separation membranes by designing an in-and-out coating material for modifying porous activated carbon fabric (ACF). Fluorinated polyurethane (F-PU) coating materials were synthesized and applied to both the inner and outer surfaces of the ACF via urethane reactions. The resulting fabric exhibited excellent hydrophobic properties, anti-scratch performance, oil-water separation performance (>95%), and bacterial penetration blocking efficiency (>99% for gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria). The fabric also maintained its bacterial blocking ability after scratch tests, demonstrating high durability.
