Abstract
This paper presents a flexible skin with two iontronic pressure sensors for measuring both negative and positive wind pressure with ultrahigh resolution in room temperature wind tunnels. One sensor, using a pre-pressure to enable negative pressure sensing, achieves a resolution of -20 Pa (0.025%) from -100 kPa to -10 Pa. The other sensor, for positive pressure, achieves 100 Pa (0.025%) resolution over 600 kPa and a 400 Hz bandwidth. The skin was successfully tested on a NACA-0012 wing in a wind tunnel, demonstrating its potential for aviation applications.
