Abstract
This study aimed to design and implement a protocol for detecting and treating malnutrition in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. A nutritional assessment using the Nutriscore tool was conducted before chemotherapy. Of 234 patients, 84 (36%) required individualized nutritional care. By the end of chemotherapy, the mean weight loss had improved significantly (p<0.001), with 71% of patients experiencing weight gain or maintenance.
