This paper investigates the impact of innovative teaching methodologies on students' attitudes towards statistics. A quasi-experimental study involving 174 secondary students compared a technology-enhanced, collaborative, data-driven project-based learning (SPIDAS) approach with traditional instruction. Results showed a significant positive shift in attitudes among the experimental group, including decreased anxiety and increased positive affect toward using technology for learning statistics, unlike the control group.
