Despite the increase in highly-educated women, the gender wage gap persists in developing countries. This paper examines the effects of women's higher education on wage inequality in Palestine, utilizing data from the Palestinian Labor Force Survey (2010-2020). The Mincer equation and the decomposed Gini coefficient were employed. Results indicate higher wages for those with higher education, an increasing gender wage inequality over time, but a decreasing contribution of gender and education differences to overall wage inequality. The study suggests policy focus on women's education to enhance labor market empowerment and economic growth.
