This study investigates the association between higher vocational education (HVE) and rural revitalization in China using panel data from 30 provinces (2007-2020). Empirical results reveal that both the scale and quality of HVE significantly promote rural revitalization nationally. However, regional variations exist: scale matters in the east and central regions, while quality is crucial in the west. The scale of HVE exhibits a positive spatial spillover effect, unlike its quality. Threshold effects are also observed, influenced by economic development level and the urban-rural income gap.
