Abstract
This paper introduces a novel approach to image roaming reactions, using intense femtosecond IR radiation and Coulomb explosion imaging to reconstruct the momentum vector of neutral roaming H₂, a precursor to H₃⁺ formation in acetonitrile. This technique provides a kinematically complete picture of the molecular dynamics, unambiguously identifying the roaming mechanism and corroborating current theories.
