Abstract

The disclosure of patients' travel route information, while crucial for pandemic control, can lead to cyber violence (CV). This study analyzes 13 real cases from China, revealing characteristics like rumors and moral condemnation. First locally confirmed cases were particularly vulnerable. Data mining and network analysis of six cases showed increased CV risk for those violating regulations. Mainstream media and influential we-media played a significant role in information dissemination. The study proposes solutions: improving route information systems, easing public anxiety, and leveraging mainstream and influential we-media for responsible reporting.
