Curiosity shapes spatial exploration and cognitive map formation in humans

Pre-exploration curiosity predicted how much people explored virtual environments, visual exploration shaped later interest, and Stress Tolerance amplified the curiosity–exploration link — together with curiosity and exploration predicting sketch-map recall precision.
