This study investigated the impact of a comprehensive cognitive stimulation program on four Guatemalan children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. A case series approach was used, comparing the children to a neurotypical control group. Results indicated significant improvements in executive functions and social cognition for children in the experimental group, particularly those with NDDs, exceeding improvements seen in the neurotypical group. A simple reading program showed less benefit, especially for children with NDDs.
