Abstract
This study explored food security and climate change issues in Sri Lanka and assessed how food sovereignty contributes to addressing climate change impacts on food systems. It contextualized these issues within Sri Lanka's development discourse using a narrative review and in-depth interviews with experts. Key findings suggest that climate change adversely impacts global food security, disproportionately affecting developing nations. The study argues that promoting food sovereignty, through policy reforms and structural changes, is key to alleviating these impacts in Sri Lanka.
